My name is Lene and I’m born and brought up in Nannestad,
a small village in the proximity of Gardermoen.
Due to my roots, I have a certain local knowledge of the area we are supposed to develop.
This is my fourth year of master (architecture).
The pics posted below are from the main workshop during my fifth semester, working with a site at Ensjø, Oslo. It was a transformation project and I believe it to be in a different area than the one introduced this semester. I’m excited to explore the subjects that are new to me.
The task consisted of transforming a 13-floor office building into appartments with a public bath at the top floor. I was inspired by dynamic shapes sketched in concrete, wanting to incorporate the form in the building, discussing the aspects of housing concept.
