I found this website about a Design Competition for Creating Productive Green Space in Cities.

If you check out the winner and the 30 semifinalists you will see heeps of good reference projects concerning urban development in relation to urban agriculture and some REALLY GOOD examples of good and bad graphic design. 

I found this quite inspiring and interesting, especially the layout.

My name is Sigurborg Ósk and I come from Iceland. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Landscape planning from the Agricultural University of Iceland. My essey was about 70 pages and it was about a small area, down town Akureyri in Iceland. I did not do any posters about it so I simply put this together for you to see.

EMERGING URBAN TERRITORIES

The course studies emerging urbanized fields in the Oslo region, specifically investigating a sample of territory enclosed between the city of Lillestrøm and Gardermoen airport. Projects will explore the relationship between landscape, infrastructures and urban development in order to unveil the potential for new landscape and architectural transformations. The course shall develope operative parameters for Landscape architecture based on the contextual and site specific characteristics, and hence inform individual projects for the design of new landscape, infrastructural and architectural structures.
