hi, nice and clear maps :) are the green corridor along the residential buildings shaped as E's in the middle of your development private or public space?
Hi Paul - very interesting plan! I see that you start manipulating sections giving an idea of how the spatial experience of you masterplan will be like. And this is very good. So I like that you lifted the road and inserted your public building in the dike landfill. Why is that going back into a "wall" right after the road? I am not sure of what quality will the open space south of your kept military buildings have.. I think you should try to draw your planned sections, but with them , or in addition, "sample" some pieces of your territory, and show what kind of spatial qualities you have in mind (open spaces, building masses, scales) For example would be nice to see how you will treat the three bands of open space in the middle of your building mass. Like Terje suggests, will all be public? And also, will all be green? All in the same way? Or how differently? Also not forgetting your east side, around Storgata. I am sure you are working with it, so just post your progression :-) Again, it is a good well developed plan. Let us see the details...
I am planning on spending some quality time drawing up a series of sections, that I hope will go some way to illustrating the 'detail'.
As for the area of riverfront open space adjacent to the converted technology hub - I am planning on using this area to deal with remediated site soils and pollutants. The idea is to use this concept as a detailed study of landform. So... I will model these mounds in clay and photograph them as I go...
